Legends of Shannara - Bearers of the Black Staff

4 cookies
By Terry Brooks. I have always really liked Terry Brooks and his books, this is the newest in a long line of Shannara books. This is the 5th in the Genesis of Shannara books, one of my favorite series ever.

They're Watching

They're Watching by Gregg Hurwitz. Loved this mystery/thriller. Super plot twists and a great story. Can't wait to read more of his books.

Sizzling Sixteen

Sizzling Sixteen by Janet Evanovich. A Stephanie Plum novel. Love these books.

Saving CeeCee Honeycutt

Murder of a Botoxed Blonde

Murder of a Botoxed Blonde: a Scumble River mystery by Denise Swanson. I like these books, but I laugh at the absurdity of the amount of murders in this small town.

Shadow Zone

3 cookies
Shadow Zone by Iris Johansen and Roy Johansen. This book was okay, about an ancient underwater city and a plot to kill the world's oceans. Kind of out there.

The Murder of King Tut

4 1/2 cookies
The Murder of King Tut: the plot to kill the child king: a non-fiction thriller by James Patterson and Martin Dugard. Loved this book, I was totally fascinated with it. They pieced together what they think happened to King Tut, and then actual finding of his tomb. So interesting.

Babyville

3 cookies
Babyville by Jane Green. Very much like the other Jane Green novels, which is to say, it was okay.

The Lion

4 cookies
The Lion by Nelson DeMille. Great book with one of my all time favorite characters.

Whiplash

3 cookies
Whiplash by Catherine Coulter. One of the FBI thriller books. I really liked this series when it first came out, but the quality has gone steadily downhill. I still like the characters.

Taken

By Kathleen George. It seems like I liked this one.

I'm Back

Hopefully I can start keeping this up again - having a baby (esp. #5!) can certainly take up all your time. We will see what I can remember from them last couple of months.
