Graceling by Kristin Cashore. I really liked this book. It is of the fantasy genre. It is about a girl named Katsa, who is part of a group of people who have what is known as a "grace". A grace is a special gift, like the gift of cooking or swimming, or predicting the weather, or reading minds. Katsa's grace is Killing, and the king makes her do terrible things. You have a grace if your eyes are two different colors. Interesting reading.
