This World We Live In by Susan Beth Pfeffer. Third book in the series. I didn't like this one nearly as much, it was like she was asked to write it without a clear picture of what is was supposed to be, and the result is half-hearted at best. It actually brings together the characters from the first and second books (that were completely separate, the 2 books had nothing in common but the actual events in the world around them), but I wasn't impressed with much of it at all.
