The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale. So, I have been hearing good things about The Goose Girl for months, at Book Club, from my sister-in-law, misc. other places and people. I finally got to it from my list of "what to read" and I loved it! It was really great. I am finding that I really like Shannon Hale. Everything that I have read of hers I have really liked. Apparently it is based on a Grimm Fairy Tale, but this was the first time I have heard this story. It is about a princess who must become a goose girl before she can become queen. It was really good!
